It is important to properly organize the interior space of the home for feathered pets. In their natural habitat, birds like to jump from branch to branch. Therefore, in the cell necessarily provide poles, which are located at different levels.

The diameter of the poles is selected so that the birds could not cover their paws. Perched birds are made of wood or of volcanic pumice – a sufficiently durable material.

The poles can be made in the form of smooth polished sticks, veto or rope ladders. Most small birds of the fauna additionally need to provide houses or closed wicker nests, where birds can hide in case of danger. They are placed on a hill or at the bottom of the tray in the most secluded place of the cell.

Shelters are quite suitable for breeding pets. The size of the houses depends on the species of bird. So, the corals need a small nest measuring 35x25x25 cm with a letok about 6 cm in diameter.

For the Chinese nightingale you will need a nest with a diameter of 13 cm and a height of about 10 cm, which is placed in the corner of the aviary and decorated with plants. In nature, lovebirds breed offspring in hollows of trees. Therefore, for them, you can provide a house in the form of a tree trunk. The optimal size of the nest is about 18 cm in diameter and 25 cm in height. The diameter of the taphole is no more than 6 cm.

To equip the nest, the birds need to provide building material: shreds of hay, feathers, flax tows. Many small birds (for example, Amadin, blackbirds, starlings) are very fond of swimming, can splash several times a day. Therefore, often in the home for pets provide baths.
